With a career spanning over four decades, Ray Vine has cemented himself as a vital force in Perth’s music scene and beyond. From his early days performing with local bands like The Fingerprints, The Frames, Ice, and V-Capri to touring Australia in the ’80s, his talent and versatility have made him a sought-after musician. A classically trained performer, Ray earned his Associate Diploma and Bachelor of Music at WAAPA, honing his skills in both performance and education. Throughout the ’90s, he worked as a session musician, backing interstate and international artists in productions such as Boy From Oz and Beehive. His passion for music led him into education, shaping young musicians as Head of Music at some of Perth’s finest private colleges. Having traveled the world as a session player for Princess Cruise Lines, Ray now channels his expertise into a Pink Floyd tribute band, bringing his mastery to one of rock’s most legendary catalogues.
