Ben was inspired to pick up a guitar as a 15-year-old after discovering Wish You Were Here album in his parents’ record collection. This soon turned into a Pink Floyd obsession as he cut his teeth in music by trying to perfect the nuances of David Gilmour on his guitar. Since then, he has gone on to become one of the most sought-after musicians from the North West of Australia. Aside from his many band projects, he also tours nationally as Bangers By Benny. He is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist with a keen eye for production. Before moving to the big smoke and joining Time, Ben orchestrated a 50-year celebration performance ‘The Dark Side of the Broome’. The sold-out production was a career highlight, featuring an all-star 10-piece band of the Kimberley region’s best musicians.
