Mark has been a professional musician for over 40 years, contributing fretted, frettless, and acoustic bass guitars as well as vocals. With a career spanning thousands of shows, he has toured, recorded, and performed alongside some of Australia and America’s top acts. Inspired by Elvis, country, and ’50s music from a young age, Mark began playing at 14. His passion for Pink Floyd ignited at 17 with The Wall, leading him to play in a prominent Floyd show for seven years. Mark honed his craft in Sydney’s vibrant music scene, crediting his success to fortunate connections and humility. Despite his achievements, he remains grounded, noting that being introduced to just a few top-tier artists can create a ripple effect in one’s musical journey. Mark describes his career as a “lucky musical life” and cherishes the opportunities that shaped his path.
